Jeremiah 31:15–17 “Rachel weeps for her children, refusing to be comforted for her children are gone. But now this is what the Lord says: ‘Do not weep any longer… There is hope for your future.'”
We pause today, using their chosen text, to hold Rachel’s House in prayer. We are celebrating “what love can do and dare” through their prisoner re-entry support, which provides “a physically and emotionally safe environment, empowering women to establish healthy relationships with God, family and community.” Rachel’s House is a part of Lower Lights Ministries in Columbus, Ohio.
God of Hope – open our eyes to see and hearts to feel the hope in tomorrow that is witnessed in the hands of care, words of guidance and spirit-filled nudges your faithful servants provide when our own wells are dry and resources lacking. Amen.
